Boost Your Self Esteem Using Archetypes
“Choice is your greatest power. It is an even greater power than love, because you must first choose to be a loving person.” -Caroline Myss

We first must understand our archetypes — the energies of the patterns found in our souls. We must understand that these energies are impersonal, just like the wind, rain, and sun on our earth. When it rains, it is not personal, but it is about our personal choice. We can choose to use an umbrella, or we can choose to get wet. Either choice, depending on how we decide that day, is a way to care for ourselves. There’s no reason to assign a charge to the rain. It’s just rain, but how we choose to deal with the rain is everything. For example, when the Saboteur archetype shows up (when we have negative or obsessive thoughts), we have a choice to make. We can wallow and even revel in our obsessions and illusions, or, we can focus our awareness and change our day by choosing to look at what we are grateful for in life. Gratitude is a wonderful umbrella to use when our minds “rain negative thoughts” down on us. Don’t take it personally, just change the channel and start a gratitude list, even if it starts with, “thanks for this rain, thanks for this frustration with dampness I feel, and thanks for allowing me to breathe and notice my heart beating”.
“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding or ourselves.” -Carl Jung
Outer and inner archetypal energy patterns are the very patterns of our lives and souls. We learn how to feel, understand, allow, and work with them as we struggle, experience pain, and embrace the joys of a full and rewarding life. Understand your archetypes is a journey, a journey worth taking to truly connect to the language of your life and soul. Combining essential oil blends with this inner self-examination helps our mind, body and spirit relax, and that will lead to a deeper richness and understanding of what is possible in our lives.
May you learn to embrace archetypes in your life and find connections to the sacred in your soul to fully experience contentment, healthy self- esteem, and peace. There really is a lot of fun in all this discovery!
