Barb received her Registered Aromatherapist®  from the independent Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC). RA certification confirms advanced education and safety standards when working with essential oils in a therapeutic treatment setting. Barb’s nursing and extensive hands-on essential oil training came from the Integrative Aromatherapy® Certificate Program for Health Professionals and her nurse-midwifery education at the graduate level. She also has completed the Essential Oil Safety program offered by The Tisserand Institute. Barb is one of the founding board members of the Aromatic Research Quality Appraisal Taskforce, ARQAT.  She is on the clinical committee of The Alliance of International Aromatherapists. She has attended and studied the Advanced Ingham Method of Foot Reflexology. Barb uses reflexology with clients for wellness.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with a minor in Theology from Carlow University, a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Gannon University, she received her Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from Case Western Reserve University, and has broad experience in many areas of nursing, most recently in hospice and palliative care.

Personalized care, trust, and sharing clinical knowledge are her motives for teaching the tools of essential oils and archetypes. Barb is a certified archetypal consultant from CMED, Caroline Myss. Barb continues her education in Carl Jung’s archetype theory from the C. G. Jung Foundation Continuing Education. Her goals are to partner with clients to grow spiritually by trusting their bodies, minds, and souls to emerge into robust health and wholeness.

Barb uses custom blends tailored to each individual to minimize physical, emotional, and spiritual pain or discomfort. Overall health can be improved by using the tools of essential oils for self-care. Barb’s private practice is available for phone, Zoom, or Skype consultations.
